What is an AI paternity test?
An AI paternity test uses computer-vision face matching to compare two or more faces and estimate how similar they look. Instead of analyzing DNA, it analyzes facial geometry — the spacing of the eyes, the shape of the nose and jaw, the proportions of the face — and produces a similarity score. Think of it as a high-tech version of squinting at a baby photo and saying, "yep, that's the spitting image of dad."

Dad or Mad does not test DNA and cannot determine biological parentage. Looks are not genetics — plenty of biological children resemble neither parent, and plenty of unrelated people look uncannily alike. For real answers, use an accredited DNA testing service or talk to a licensed professional.
How the scan works

Is it accurate?
It's accurate at one thing: measuring how similar two faces look. That's genuinely fun and often surprisingly convincing. But facial similarity is a weak proxy for biology — children change dramatically as they grow, lighting and angle move the numbers, and family resemblance can skip around between relatives.
